About The Thriving Learners Institute
The Thriving Learners Institute (TLI) is dedicated to empowering lifelong learners with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to thrive. Our mission is to foster sustainable development by teaching individuals to fish rather than just giving them fish. We offer a range of programs designed to uplift communities and create lasting impact.
MISSION STATEMENT
To empower life-long learners with the knowledge, skills and resources they need to survive.
PHILOSOPHY
Teach to fish. Inspired by Matthew 4:19, we believe if we give our learners a fish, they will eat for a day – but if we teach them to fish, they will eat for a lifetime.
VISION
A community of tech-savvy problem-solvers with the agency and resources to build the future they dream of.
Our Key Programs
Upskilling Ugandan Youth
Our life-long learners were thrilled as they were exposed to coding, graphic designing, Office Suite and many more tech skills.
Thriving Farmers Network
An agricultural initiative focused on breaking the cycle of poverty among smallholder farmers by teaching them modern farming ways and connecting them with the needed resources
Training Center
TLI Training Center is a 2-storey facility with a main hall and 6 classrooms that will be fitted with computers, sewing machines & other equipment for our skills training program.
